Foster care is a temporary living arrangement for abused, neglected and dependent children who need a a safe place to live when parents of another relative cannot take care of them. The length of stay ranges from a few days to much longer. Fostering children is an opportunity to extend the love of Christ to children who may otherwise never hear or experience the Gospel. This 6 week training is led by staff from Gaston County DSS and is part of the training requirements necessary for anyone to become foster parents. If you have further questions regarding this class offering, please contact Teresa Edge.
This class meets weekly for 7 weeks beginning Wednesday, January 6 at 6:30pm.
