We live in a sexualized world. Marketers use sex to sell products that are completely unsexy like cat food and drain cleaner. Almost every movie has a sexual reference or scene. Sexual lyrics are common in music. And beyond sexual promiscuity, our culture is now raising more and more questions surrounding sexual identity.
How can parents keep up in a world like this? How can they navigate their kids through it? Should they hide? Should they expose? Or should they try to find the blurry place in between? How does the gospel inform our response and how do we apply the gospel to those who are wrestling with the issue of sexual identity?
These questions, and many others, are the ones that we hope to discuss and answer as a part of this Parent Equip Night on Friday, December 8, 6-8pm.
[ Dinner will be included for everyone. Childcare is available for kids/students from birth - 8th grade ]
