Reached People Groups

WHat is a people group?

A people group is an ethno-linguistic group with a common self-identity that is shared by the various members. For strategic purposes it is the largest group within which the Gospel can spread without encountering barriers of understanding or acceptance.

what's the difference between reached and unreached?

A people group is considered unreached (UPG) when there is no indigenous community of believing Christians able to engage this people group with church planting. Technically speaking, the percentage of evangelical Christians in this people group is less than 2 percent.

In Phoenix, short-term trips are centered around objectives of church planters with whom we partner. We seek to come alongside them in church planting and equip the church and leadership as they grow.

These short-term trips are in partnership with Hope Church in Oradea, Romania and its pastor Cristi Sonea. Once, organizing and hosting events was the purpose of such trips, but now with the tremendous growth of Hope Church, trips must fill more of a leadership development role such as equipping or coaching in a particular area of ministry.
