Why do you want to be a part of Disciple Makers Intensive?

I want to be able to take the things I learn through this course and be able to apply them when discussing the Gospel with friends and family. I also want to be able to apply what I am taught while leading worship. Over the past several months I have had the opportunity to teach several growth group lessons and feel that the classes will help better prepare me to be a growth group leader and also as I prayerfully consider the individuals that I can teach and disciple.

Do you currently have 1-3 people that can commit to meeting with you twice a month (on average) for discipling over the course of the next year? If so, who are they?

Jordan Capps

Choose one of the following doctrines and give us a brief definition and explanation of the subject: God, salvation, the Holy Spirit, or the Bible.

Salvation is the ultimate gift from God for those who believe and take refuge in him. Everyone is a sinner and falls short of God's glory. Because of this, God sent his son Jesus to bear the wrath of God and take the ultimate punishment as forgiveness of our sins on the cross, defeating sin once and for all. On the 3rd day Jesus rose from the dead, made testimony to this with his disciples before ascending into heaven and calling his disciples to go and make disciples. One must put faith in what Jesus did on the cross, believe, ask for forgiveness and turn from our sinful lives.
