I trusted the Lord early in life but really began to build our relationship starting in 6th grade and all through high school. As I underwent family trauma my youth pastor and his wife were crucial in helping me navigate questions and understand the bible in a deep and meaningful way. I have always been gifted in shepherding and discipling women. I love working with youth and teens as they navigate the hard years of preparing for independence from family traditions and religion. I truly belive the first 12 years for a child are critical for family discipleship and years 12 - 18 are about building on top of that foundation so a person has a shelter from all the world will throw at their faith in their adult years. These are critical years for teaching our children how to let others into their faith journey as well as helping them learn discernment and spirit-led discision making.

When I think about stepping into the role of disciple maker for these students my heart swells with the idea of one-on-one lunchs, going to games and theater productions. Opening up our home and living out the gospel in the everyday while inviting them along for the ride. I love the quiet task of writing notes of encouragement and delivering brownies to the sick. Caring for these women in practical and spiritual ways with a steady and devoted presence walking with them and their families as they grow in their faith.
