In the wake of Hurricane Helene, Western North Carolina is in urgent need of assistance.
Parkwood is currently making daily trips to churches in the Asheville and Hendersonville areas and will soon expand to Watauga County. We plan to continue these trips until the need is met or donations slow. If you, your company/employer, your church/organization is collecting goods and would like us to assist with delivery, you are welcome to drop them off at our warehouse during the following times:
This Week:
- Thursday (10/3) & Friday (10/4): 6-8 AM, 10 AM – 1 PM, 5 PM -7 PM
Starting 10/5:
- Saturday: 9 AM – 12 PM
- Sunday: 9 AM – 5 PM
- Monday – Friday: 9 AM – 7 PM
What to Donate:
- Bottled Water
- Gas Cans (preferably filled, but empty also accepted)
- Chainsaws
- Shovels
- Large contractor trash bags
- Gloves (heavy-duty for cleanup)
- Flashlight with batteries
- Grab-and-go snacks
- Powdered electrolyte mixes
- Personal hygiene products
- Pet food
- Baby formula
- Diapers
- Basic first aid items
- Ready-to-Eat food items
- Generators

When you arrive at the warehouse, please pull through and drop off. Please do not park at the warehouse. If you need to talk with people at the warehouse, please park at the office and walk down the hill.
