Next Steps For Your Visit

What’s the weekly schedule?

Parkwood gathers every Sunday at identical worship services 8, 9:30 & 11 am each week. (Childcare provided at 9:30 am and 11 am services.)

How do I get there?

Parkwood is located in Gastonia, North Carolina at 1729 E Garrison Blvd.

Where should I park?

When you visit our campus, you can enter the parking lot from either Dixon Road or Garrison Blvd.

Where do I go?

When you arrive, come through the main doors under the “Parkwood” sign. Please make sure to stop by one of our “Next Step” areas near our main entrances because we have a gift waiting for you as a way of saying thank you for coming. Stopping by one of these areas will also allow us the opportunity to show you around the campus, answer any questions you have, and serve you and your family in a way that meets your needs. We’re here to serve you, and we will be so glad to have you as our guest at Parkwood!

What should I wear?

Parkwood has a “come as you are” atmosphere. You will see some dressed up, some dressed casually.

Where do my kids go?

All children ages fifth grade and younger check-in with a secure sticker system; the check-in process is quick and easy, and you’re given a secure code where only you can pick them up. In addition, all teachers and caregivers undergo a thorough background check before they’re allowed to serve with children. Your kids are safe at Parkwood!  Students grades 6-12 meet throughout the week, so they are free to join you in worship on Sunday mornings.

What is a Sunday service like?

Our Sunday worship services include live worship and expository preaching that is taught verse by verse through a book of The Bible. Take a look through our message archives to get a feel for what a service is like. Each service lasts about an hour.

Let us Know You’re Coming!

We would love to make your first visit as easy as possible, and we realize that walking into a new place can be daunting. Let us know in advance when you plan on joining us so that one of our friendly Parkwood volunteers can help you get settled in!
