Good day Parkwood Baptist Church Search Committee! My name is Chad Smith and I am extremely interested and hopeful to start the process to possibly becoming the Student Disciple Making Male Leader for Parkwood Baptist Church. I have been in prayerful consideration for months now, seeking the Lord's guidance and direction as to what He would have me do career wise. Through these prayerful and fast filled months I feel like God is calling, not only myself, but my family back to the southeast in pursuit of full time ministry. My heart is for growing peoples hearts and minds for the Gospel. What better opportunity to impact a persons faith with the Gospel than when they are in Middle School and High School. Ever since I have been called to the Ministry, I have been driven to educate and build up young adults for the whole Gospel of Christ. I see youth today in a very critical and confusing time with many social issues coming from secular institutions and post modern thought driving the way. So pointing young believers (or non-believers) to the truth, hope, and joy that only comes from Christ would be a blessing for me. As well as keeping me young! (I'm 30).
